Unbelievable! Forecasting the weather for all these years it has certainly taken a turn regarding reliability. During the reign of ‘Inigo Jones and Lennox Walker,’ it was these pioneers who set weather forecasting apart from the rest. In doing so they were and are still household names in predicting the weather. They used hand written charts and graphs, hand written records and monitored the sun every day to produce their weather reports. For all these years we’ve had to digest that an El Nino means drought conditions in Australia, and therefore the rural fraternity would take note and sell their cattle and hopefully hang onto their breeders. And the opposite would happen with a La Nina. But wait for it, this year has been the wettest El Nino, what a complete farce. I mean seriously, just say you got it completely wrong. People prefer honesty.
